Harry Potter, Magic in Edinburgh

Join me as we see the beautiful Scottish city of Edinburgh through the eyes of J.K Rowling. From her poor beginnings to becoming a billionaire author.

We start with my own Hogwarts house quiz! This is very important as throughout the tour,  there will be a Harry Potter trivia competition between the houses. If you already know what house you are in, great! You're still welcome to play the quiz.

 We'll then start our tour of the beautiful city of Edinburgh using moving images to keep the action fluid and accessible to people will all internet speeds. I'll show you the places where J.K Rowling drew her inspiration, such as the school believed to be the inspiration for Hogwarts, the shops that found their way into Diagon Ally, and the graveyard where she took names for her characters.

 Along the way, I'll tell you about the inspiration for some of the most loved characters and we'll finish with the final round of quiz questions to see which Hogwarts house wins.

Why I made this tour

 Being a Harry Potter fan, I always had fun doing my walking Harry Potter tour. When the pandemic struck and I was first considering creatating virtual tours, I had no idea if it was going to be successful. My neices and nephew back in Australia are Harry Potter fans and I decided if all else fails, atleast I could enjoying doing the tour for them.
