The Legend of King Arthur is the most influential legend on the British Isles. It is one of the cornerstones of British culture and Arthurian tales are now known worldwide.
I wish to take you on this virtual journey through ancient Scottish history, Celtic gods, and historic figures and how they could have inspired one of the most enduring legends of all time
Why I Made This Tour
While being a Scottish tour guide for seven years, I have discovered more and more evidence that the Arthurian legend could have all started here in Scotland! A poem about Edinburgh Castle has the first historic reference to King Arthur, a Scottish druidic inspired Merlin, the lady of the lake was a Celtic goddess, and so much more.
